Apple Cider Vinegar for Eczema – A Reader’s Tip

Many eczema sufferers have used apple cider vinegar daily with positive results. Here are some of my posts on using apple cider vinegar for eczema. For those of you who are still skeptical about using apple cider vinegar to reduce eczema flareups, here is one mother who shares her story:

“I would just like to share with you all something that has been working for our daughter’s skin. I am hesitant to post so soon, it has been about 3 weeks of really good skin for us & I am still trying to figure out if it is a coincidence or not…

I have read these tips previously, but started using them together & it is working pretty well – I bathe her daily & add a cup of Apple Cider Vinegar. This seems to work on cutting down some inflammation or possible infections forming. It is also supposed to decrease the itchiness. After the bath, I put a layer of Vitamin E oil on her skin, followed by a coat of Vanicream. I bought a bottle of Vitamin E oil (only 2 ingredients listed) at Walgreens for about $8. It is doing a great job at moisturizing her skin & she isn’t scratching or flaring nearly as much as usual.

We are on daily Zyrtec & Nasonex, & have food allergies which we avoid as well – all of this helps, too. “
