I tried protopic or whatever… HATED IT!!!!! I use aveeno now I had been using eucerine so long my body became “immune” to it. I also used to use Cortizone and Cortizone 10+ but i didn’t like the feel of that. But dove soap is my stuff girl!!!! LOVE IT LIVE IT!!!!

i have it on my scalp! and it flares in the winter time. about a year ago i didnt know that i had it on my scalp, (i knew i had it other places) and i would scratch like crazy. around that time my hair start thinning and breaking. i eventually had to cut about 12 inches off of it which for us girls of color is alot. now its starting back again; im trying to keep it under control like actually using my cream. but i hope everything works for you! :)

is protipic a steroid? because i suffer from really bad eczema and my doctor prescribed triamcinolone which is supposed to clear the eczema but doesn’t really help me.
and also another question, have you ever tried cetaphil soap?

i’ve had eczema since birth (arms, back of legs and around my mouth) and it is a hassle. i have been using prescribed hydrocodisone, aveeno, keri, cocoa butter, and dial soap. it is key to use soap with little to no fragrance. my daddy used to used jergen’s on me to calm down the itching too.

aveeno is the best though and it helps me so much especially the oatmeal bath stuff they have. the whole line is great and i recommend it.

Protopic changed my life. Ask your doctor about it.

i have had idiots ask me if my eczema was ringworm. it was really insulting and upsetting as i am self conscious of it, and it was jus plain ignorant of them to make that comment. it has happened several times
