Natural Itch Buster : Luxurious Baths

Taking your time to soak in a nice long bath can help to relieve your eczema flare ups. Soaking in water helps the skin to absorb moisture and stay supple. It is recommended to soak for at least 20 to 30 minutes everyday for best results.

A baking soda bath is good way to relieve itch for some people. This does not really work for my son, but it might work for you. Just add one cup of baking soda to a tub filled with lukewarm water and soak for 30 minutes to an hour. Use a cup to pour the water over any part of the body that isn’t submerged. Pat dry and apply moisturizer. Use this treatment once or twice a day for as long as itching is a problem.

I have tried using virgin coconut oil bath for my son. Just add several tablespoons of Pure Virgin Coconut Oil to a bath. Get in, soak, relax – you will feel tremendous relief immediately. I know my son enjoy his coconut oil bath. Taking a coconut oil bath before you go to bed helps to relieve night itch. After bath, rub on coconut oil generously all over your body. Try it, and see if it works for you.
