I have written this article title “Eat your way to healing Eczema naturally” about a year ago. This article is written based on my personal experience with my son’s eczema. You can still read the article here. This article has attracted a lot of readership. And I have received some positive feedback on the article, but this reader who has contacted me recently graciously share his experience on his eczema healing. With his permission, I have pasted the main part of his email below:
Audrey,
I wanted to thank you for the article you wrote called \”Eat Your Way to
Healing Eczema Naturally\”. I have always battled with problem skin all my
life, initially with acne and later on with eczema. I had tried various remedies
for eczema from lying in salt baths to all sorts of skin cremes but to no avail.
Most people do not understand how hard it is for a person to live like that. It
makes life extremely uncomfortable. When I came across your article I could not
believe how straightforward and gimmick-free it was. Your article was free for
all to access, unlike other people who profit from these things by making you
buy their book to find out the information. I started supplementing my diet with
a carrot a day for lunch to up my vitamin a, took a scoop of brewers yeast as a
source of vitamin b, 2g of powdered vitamin c, a high fibre cereal and pink
salmon twice a week to up my omega 3. Well, results have been fantastic! I
cannot thank you enough for sharing the information you gave me because you have
changed my life!
This article has really made my day. But more importantly, this reader has taken proactive action on healing his eczema rather than taking the easy way out by applying hydrocortisone and other common steroids for eczema. Drugs and chemicals gives only temporary relief, what is more important is to change the basics of your lifestyle, such as diet. Many are skeptical that simply changing their diet can help heal eczema. I hope by sharing this reader’s experience, I can inspire you to start taking baby steps in healing your eczema … naturally.
